There was a fantastic article on ZenHabits this week about the lost practice of resting one day each week. It's definitely worth a read if you are one of those who is opposed to the idea of a day of rest. One of my goals this year is to take one day on the weekend to unplug and to rest. This doesn't mean that I lie around all day (though sometimes that might be exactly what you need); instead, I spend this day fully present with my family, and I only do things that are fun or relaxing for me. I encourage you to give it a try!
