DIY: Dyed Wooden Beads

Do you take the time to sit down and have lunch every day? As someone who works from home, I know how tempting it is to grab something quick and continue working, but I've started to make myself a real lunch AND to sit down to eat it.  Yesterday I caught a bit of the Martha Stewart show and saw this fantastic project for dying wood beads.

The process is very straight forward. You mix up the colors that you want, (there are some recipes on the Martha site) string the beads on wire, and submerge the wooden beads for 2-6 minutes, agitating gently. When they have reached the desired color, you simply allow them to dry on paper towels overnight and spend the next day making fun necklaces.  What a fantastic and simple idea!
